Kitchen Display
A live view of every ticket the kitchen needs to prepare, updated in real time.
The Kitchen Display shows every order that is New, Confirmed, or Preparing. As soon as an order is sent from the POS terminal, it appears here automatically without anyone needing to refresh.
Moving an order through
Each ticket moves through the same flow:
- Start Preparing: kitchen picks up a new order.
- Mark Ready: all items are cooked and ready to serve.
- Settle Bill: handed back to the front of house for payment.
If an order comes in multiple rounds (items added after the first send), the display groups items by round so the kitchen can see what's new versus what's already in progress.
Item-level tracking
Within a ticket, individual items can be marked ready or served independently, useful when some dishes take longer than others and you want the kitchen to work through a ticket incrementally rather than all-or-nothing.
Cancelling an order
An order can be cancelled from the kitchen display with a reason attached. If the order had a table assigned, that table is freed up automatically once the order is cancelled or paid.
