Tables
Your floor map: set up tables once, then track their status through service.
Setting up your floor
Add each table with a table number, seating capacity, and floor number (useful if you have multiple floors or seating areas). Tables are scoped to a branch, so each location manages its own floor map independently.
Table status
Every table shows one of two states on the floor map:
- Available (green): free and ready to be seated.
- Occupied (amber): has an active order attached to it.
A table becomes occupied automatically the moment a dine-in order is assigned to it from the POS Terminal, and returns to available once that order is paid or cancelled, no manual status update needed for the common case.
Assigning orders
When creating a dine-in order at the POS terminal, pick the table from the floor map. Tapping an occupied table opens its active order directly, so waiters can add items to an existing order without starting a new one.
