Orders
A complete record of every order at this branch, from creation to payment.
Order status flow
Every order moves through the same four stages, shown as a simple progress bar:
- New: just created, not yet started by the kitchen.
- Preparing: being cooked.
- Ready: cooked and ready to serve or be picked up.
- Paid: payment has been settled and the order is complete.
An order can also be Cancelled at any point before payment, with a reason recorded for the record.
Order types
Each order is tagged as Dine-in, Takeaway, or Delivery, so reports and the kitchen display can filter and group accordingly.
Finding an order
The Orders screen lists every order for the current branch, newest first, with filters for status and order type. Open any order to see its full item list, notes, applied discount, tax breakdown, and payment details.
